Correspondence Analysis to Demonstrate the Relationship Between Musculoskeletal Pain and Body Mass Index

Background As obese people frequently experience persistent musculoskeletal pain (MSP), understanding the relationship between obesity and may help develop therapeutic preventative approaches to treat discomfort from MSP. MSP can negatively impact such individuals’ quality of life their ability perform daily tasks. Therefore, more thorough investigations are required fully understand connection Aims To assess pain(MSP) body mass index (BMI) among women in age group 25 65 years. Methods From July December 2022, a cross-sectional study ages was carried out near Rural Health Training Centre (RHTC) medical college Lucknow District Uttar Pradesh, India. In total, 443 took part study. BMI computed, weight height were recorded, at any site (i.e., neck, shoulders, upper back, arms, lower forearms, wrists, hip/buttocks, thighs, knees, legs, ankles) noted. The data analyzed through correspondence analysis. Results Of that participated study, 224 (50.6%) had MSP, 9.3% 28.2% or overweight, respectively. Obese overweight found be higher risk back pain.
